By accessing or using Taboosey at taboosey.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the service. These terms apply to all visitors, players, and users of Taboosey.

2. Description of Service

Taboosey is a free, browser-based party word game that allows players to enjoy a Taboo-style word-guessing experience without physical cards. The service includes:

• A built-in word deck spanning multiple categories (Food & Drink, Animals, Technology, Nature, Places, and Actions)
• A Custom (AI) category that generates game cards based on user-supplied topics using third-party AI services
• Score tracking, round history, and game management features
• A Progressive Web App (PWA) that can be installed to a device home screen

Taboosey is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial entertainment use.

3. Use License and Restrictions

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Taboosey for personal entertainment purposes. You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the game or its word decks
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to scrape, copy, or manipulate game content or data
• Redistribute, republish, or commercially exploit any game content without explicit written permission
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise the website's infrastructure or servers
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law

4. Custom (AI) Content

The Custom (AI) Category feature allows you to type a topic and receive AI-generated Taboo game cards in return. This feature is powered by Google's Gemini API. By using it, you agree to the following:

• You will not submit prompts designed to generate hate speech, discriminatory content, sexually explicit material, or content that promotes illegal activity.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI-generated content. Generated cards are provided for entertainment only.
• Topics you enter may be logged as analytics events to help us improve the service. Do not enter sensitive personal information (such as names, medical details, or financial information) as a custom topic.
• AI-generated card decks are provided for your personal use within the game. You may not extract or redistribute them outside of the Taboosey service.

5. Advertising

Taboosey uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. By using this service, you acknowledge that Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. 6. Intellectual Property

The Taboosey name, logo, user interface design, word deck content, and original written materials are the property of Taboosey or its content suppliers and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms grants you ownership of any part of the service. The game concept of Taboo is a well-established genre; Taboosey is an independent implementation and is not affiliated with Hasbro or any other publisher of physical Taboo card games.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Taboosey is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy or appropriateness of built-in or AI-generated word cards. Your use of the service is at your sole risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Taboosey and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of game data, service interruptions, or issues arising from AI-generated content. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the service (which is zero, as Taboosey is free).

9. Changes to the Service and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue Taboosey at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms of Service periodically. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the terms were last revised.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the appropriate courts.
